Position: Financial Aid Technical Services Manager (130714 - Pending Reclassification)

Description: Under limited supervision of the Director of Financial Aid and Veterans' Affairs, electronically imports and exports all Federal data to update student accounts from application through batch awarding of State & Federal funds; works with ILT department to troubleshoot and update software and interfaces such as Banner, COD, NSLDS, EDConnect, and Argos reports to ensure electronic compliance with regulations; provides support in processing student loans and monitoring and implementing the Standards of Academic Progress; processes required reconciliation of grant and loan aid; supports Call Center and Student Support Staff in resolving student issues with FA; ensures that FA processes integrate with all other areas of the college; monitors Department of Education regulations and college policies to develop system procedures and support; provides and documents system changes that impact students and other areas of the college; communicates to supervisor any changes in financial aid policies that affect FA; establishes and implements training  procedures for FA staff.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with one (1) year of financial aid or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) or more years in a Student Financial Aid Office using Department of Education websites and Banner.

Salary: $36,000 - $38,000.
