Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid Operations
Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the following position: Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid Operations (Student Services Manager II) in Financial Aid and Scholarships.
Duties include, but are not limited to: operating an integrated student information system to include system upgrades and working with IT to ensure appropriate programming is in place to facilitate timely and accurate awarding of all financial aid at the institution; managing and evaluating all system processes; managing disbursement rosters and electronic funds transfers; overseeing the technology plan for the office and coordinating all technical training necessary for the office; overseeing the development of the Financial Literacy plan, and default management plan; and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements: A master's degree and at least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in Financial Aid are required. Additionally, a successful candidate should: have the ability to read, comprehend, and assimilate detailed information; be organized; positively represent the institution in diverse settings; maintain strict confidentiality; resolve conflicts and deal with constant interjections from faculty, staff, and students; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; have the ability to operate an integrated student information system; and be responsible for all of the technical processes within the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office.
