POSITION TITLE: Student Services Manager I / Assistant Financial Aid Director

DESCRIPTION OF
POSITION:
Reporting
to the Director of Financial Aid, the Assistant Financial Aid Director will
administer the day-to-day front office operations including managing staff,
counseling students, awarding financial aid and ensuring excellent customer
service standards are being met. Ensure compliance standards of all
federal, state, and private financial aid programs are being met and all
institutional policies and procedures are followed and applied.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree with 3 years financial aid experience
required. Master’s degree with 1 year financial aid experience
preferred. Must have exceptionally strong communication and counseling
skills to interact effectively with students, faculty, administrators and
general public. Expected to manage multiple projects with changing
deadlines under time constraints and pressure. Ability to supervise front
office staff. Knowledge of Ellucian/Datatel and Microsoft Excel highly
desired. Copy of unofficial college transcripts required when

SALARY: SC State Pay Band
6: $37,945
- $54,074 - $70,204; Hiring Range $37,945 - $54,074
