On November 19th, SCASFAA held its annual
Leadership Symposium for 2014-2015. Erika Weed of Sparks & Associates
presented on the ALP Leadership Evaluation. The participants were April
Baur, Julia Cunningham, Carolyn Sparks, Michelle Hare, Tiffany Wilson, Tasha
Morgan, Samantha Kite, Caroline Madden, Katie Harrison, Sue Sims, Missy Perry,
Melanie Gillespie, Earl Mayo, Kenneth Cole, and Lance Young.
The
Leadership Symposium was a great success. Erika Weed presented an excellent
evaluation of our individual leadership styles and helped us establish personal
goals and recognize areas of strengths and weaknesses. Not only did we learn to
realize our potential for growth but to also face those aspects of ourselves
that hold us back. We had sixteen leaders from across the state who shared
their personal experiences, concerns, and lessons learned. It was a dynamic
meeting that will likely have a profound influence on the leadership of those
who attended.
