Dear Friends,
Corrine P. Rogers, Federal Work Study Coordinator for our office
was at Midlands Technical College for over 40 years. Corrine had a true passion
for ensuring students were served timely, appropriately and most of all
with respect. We are all saddened by her sudden death on this past Friday,
December 12, 2014.
As we all spend so much time together in our profession, your
coworkers become a second family. Corrine was definitely one of the “mothers”
of our office. She provided sound advice, much needed direction and held our
“family” together in her own way. She will surely be missed.
Services for her will held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 17,
2014 at Greenview Baptist Church, 101 Isaac St., Columbia, SC 29223 with
interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Leevy’s Funeral Home has been
entrusted with the arrangements. Leevy’s is located at 1831 Taylor St.,
Columbia, SC 29201. Corrine’s family will have visitation on Tuesday between
6:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Thank you all for keeping our family in your thoughts and
prayers during this time.
