Financial Aid Counselor

Anderson University announces a full-time position opening for a Financial Aid Counselor. The Financial Aid Counselor works under the direction of the Director of Financial Aid Planning. Anderson University is a comprehensive, liberal arts institution affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The Financial Aid Counselor ensures compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations in administering financial aid programs; performs financial aid processing and reporting duties as assigned; and provides excellent customer service to students and families seeking assistance with financial aid and the enrollment process.

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or two years financial aid related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well as a team player, and good organizational skills are required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people are essential.
