Associate Director of Scholarships and Compliance

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Director of Student Financial Aid, the Associate Director of Scholarships and Compliance coordinates scholarship programs for the Office of Student Financial Aid, as well as holds overall responsibility for training and compliance. Specific tasks include:

·         Serve on the office’s core management team
·         Manage all university and foundation scholarship budgets
·         Assure all scholarships are awarded in a timely and accurate manner
·         Manage three staff
·         Coordinate all office training
·         Function as primary resource for University, state and federal regulatory compliance

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a master’s degree; management experience with financial and scholarship budgets preferred.

DESIRED SKILLS:
Preferred skill sets include but are not limited to:  counseling and communication skills are prerequisites; prior use of the Ellucian Banner financial aid system; candidate must also be a team player, possess a strong work ethic, and have a demonstrated commitment to customer service. 

PAY & WORK SCHEDULE
:
Standard Hours: 37.5; Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience.
