POSITION:   Student Services Program Coordinator II

DEPARTMENT:  Student Financial Services

HOURS: Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Friday-8:00 am- 1:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Northeast Campus

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Coordinates day to day Financial Aid Activities at the Northeast campus. Advises students and parents regarding financial assistance programs. Disseminate accurate and timely information to include application procedures, eligibility requirements, satisfactory academic progress standards, verification requirements, direct loan procedures and veteran benefit information. Reviews and evaluates financial aid applicant files to determine eligibility based on federal, state and institutional law, regulations and/or guidelines using Ellucian system. Reviews and evaluates documentation on student files selected for the verification process and resolves any discrepancies. Awards and adjust in accordance with federal, state and institutional guidelines; adjusts cost of attendance budgets in accordance with institutional guidelines using Ellucian system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  A Master's Degree or a Bachelor's Degree with (2) years of experience in student services programs.

HIRING RANGE: $31,182- $44,483 Band 05. SC State Classification System . Excellent benefits program that includes: employer provided health, dental, and life insurance; paid holidays; sick and annual leave; and state retirement.
