I am honored to accept the nomination for the office of Member at Large of the South Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SCASFAA).  It has been my privilege to serve the students and families of The University of South Carolina for 6 years.  For the past 4 years I have counseled transient students as they have attended your various schools.  In 2009, I created, and became the administrator of the USC-Columbia Facebook page.   Since my first days as a Financial Aid Counselor, I have been trained and counseled by my colleagues in SCASFAA, and I now ask for the opportunity to join you in service.

Statement of Candidacy

I am honored to have been chosen to run for the position of SCASFAA Member at Large.  I humbly accept this opportunity, and sincerely appreciate the confidence bestowed in my abilities by those who nominated me.  Serving on the Executive Board is a challenging and exciting way to give back to our organization.  I believe my current position as the Legislative Relations Committee Chairperson, has helped to prepare me so that I can effectively serve our membership as Member at Large.  I would like to thank you for your consideration and I hope that you will allow me the privilege of serving our association.
