It is a windy day in the Upstate and spring
fever is in the air. While spring break is just a few weeks away, the “spring
forward” time change is not quite a distant memory. Who knew one hour could make such a
difference with our internal time clocks?
It’s time to put our thinking caps on and come up with great
items for the silent auction benefiting “Cell Phones for Soldiers” - www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com. Some ideas are themed baskets,
weekend getaway packages, original artwork, or other items that represent your
institution or institution’s town. Let’s
get creative!
Please let me know if you or your institution will be able to
provide a donation for the auction. Please
email me at collums@sccsc.edu.
While at the conference I hope you take the opportunity to visit
Greenville’s thriving downtown. You will
find plenty of food, shopping and fun things to do. If you arrive on April 6th, Greenville’s minor
league baseball team will be hosting the first Saturday game of the 2013 season
at 7:05 pm. Go Greenville Drive!
Looking forward to seeing you in Greenville!
